CyberLeek group releases GTA 6 gameplay footage with 'leek' text on wall
The CyberLeek group, previously known for leaking information about GTA 6, has released new footage that appears to demonstrate access to a playable build of the game. The video shows the character Jason flying a plane over Vice City and then shooting at a wall with a rifle. The bullets form the word leek, confirming the hackers' involvement in creating the content.
Details of the leak
The video was posted on Reddit and includes a watermark with a QR code encouraging cryptocurrency purchases. In the background, details of Vice City are visible: skyscrapers, winding highways, and a flying plane. The radio in the cockpit switches between stations, indicating active gameplay.
The CyberLeek group clarified that they have an official website and Telegram channel, but fake accounts with the same name exist on other platforms (X, Discord). Eurogamer previously made an error by suggesting full access to the game, which was corrected after comments from the group itself.
Industry reaction
The Stop Killing Games organization has urged not to support the hackers financially, calling their actions illegal. The hackers position themselves as consumer rights activists, criticizing digital preorders and DLC for single-player games, but many experts remain skeptical of their motives.

What is known about the game
The release of GTA 6 is expected on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC version has not yet been announced. The trailer premiere will take place at a Netflix event on August 27. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive are actively removing leaks, but the stream of videos continues.
