Rumor: cmtry Might Join Astralis on Loan
Astralis may be approaching further roster changes. According to KRL, the Danish organization is looking into a potential loan for Ukrainian player Nikita "cmtry" Samolotiv from FUT.
Rumors regarding cmtry's potential move surfaced following reports that Astralis is seeking replacements for Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard. Negotiations regarding new contracts with these players have reportedly stalled, prompting the organization to explore options to bolster their lineup.
A significant aspect of the potential transfer is a role change: the 19-year-old player, who has operated as a sniper since joining NAVI Youth in 2023, would likely transition to a rifler role in Astralis. Recently, FUT benched the Ukrainian, bringing in Álvaro "SunPayus" García instead. This move followed inconsistent performances from cmtry after his standout MVP performance at PGL Bucharest, where he helped FUT secure their only trophy of the year.
At this stage, these details remain unconfirmed rumors. Neither Astralis nor FUT has issued an official announcement regarding the deal.
