The second day of the group stage in North America League 2026 — Stage 2 delivered several decisive results in the BO1 format. Cloud9 and DarkZero secured victories in their respective matchups, while 100 Thieves, Spacestation Gaming, and Shopify Rebellion also moved forward with wins.
Cloud9 and DarkZero secure wins
In the opening match, Cloud9 faced Outlast on Lair. The series ended 7:2 in favor of Cloud9, securing a 1:0 victory. Tyler "Ewzy" Trautner stood out as the best player, finishing with a 5.50 K/D, 89% KOST, and 1.22 KPR.
DarkZero took on M80 on Villa, managing to close the series 7:5. This 1:0 victory was highlighted by Leo "Kyno" Figueiredo, who recorded a 1.25 K/D, 67% KOST, and 0.83 KPR.
Other group stage results
The remaining matches of the day saw 100 Thieves defeat Wildcard 7:5 on Chalet, led by Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens (2.17 K/D). Spacestation Gaming overcame Five Fears 7:4 on Nighthaven Labs, with Rival earning the top player honors (1.86 K/D). Finally, Shopify Rebellion dominated For Fun Esports on Border with a 7:1 scoreline, featuring a strong performance from Damian "Surf" Medina (1.80 K/D).
The North America League 2026 — Stage 2 is scheduled to run from September 9 to October 16, featuring ten teams competing for a total prize pool of $140,000.
