CCT returns to North America with $5,000 Challengers Series #1
CCT is returning to North America. The organizers have announced CCT Challengers North America Series #1, a tournament featuring a $5,000 prize pool. This marks the organization's first event in the region since April and the debut of the Challengers branding in North America.
The main event is scheduled for November 7–8, following two Open Qualifiers on October 17 and 18. The tournament structure differs from previous CCT events in the region: eight teams will qualify for the main stage, with four slots available through each of the two qualifiers.
The main bracket will follow a single elimination format consisting of Bo3 series, including a third-place decider. The winner will take home $2,500. Given the existing competitive landscape in North America, this shorter, two-day commitment may attract notable regional teams looking for additional competition.
