Retailers in Akihabara have begun stocking the Brook Sniper 2, a converter designed to enable keyboard and mouse gameplay on various consoles. Previously limited mostly to Amazon, the device is now more widely available following distribution by Size. The retail price is set at 15,800 yen.
Broad Platform Support and Plug-and-Play
The standout feature of the Brook Sniper 2 is its extensive compatibility. It supports PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PC and mobile devices running iOS or Android. The converter is compatible with wired and wireless (2.4GHz) peripherals from brands including Razer, Logitech, ZOWIE, Pulsar, ROG, SteelSeries, Corsair, and HyperX via a plug-and-play connection.
The 40g device features a full-color status display and customizable dynamic RGB lighting. Users can perform advanced adjustments through the Brook Sniper 2 App (available for iOS and Android), which allows for DPI tuning, X/Y axis sensitivity adjustments, button remapping, and stick deadzone settings to mitigate drift.
