C9 Blaber on Worlds 2026 Elimination: "We were pretty lost today"
Cloud9 jungler Robert "Blaber" Huang reflected on the team's elimination from Worlds 2026 following a 1:3 defeat against FURIA in the lower bracket of the Play-In stage. In a post-game interview, Blaber admitted that the team struggled to execute their usual playstyle, repeatedly losing team fights and making critical mistakes throughout the series.
Blaber noted that Cloud9 failed to perform at their standard level. He explained that the team was consistently out-team-fought and allowed opponents to capitalize on individual lapses. The jungler highlighted a failure to adapt to game flow: the team struggled to win necessary skirmishes and often died at inappropriate times when a more patient approach was required.
Season Assessment and Fan Support
Reflecting on the 2026 campaign, Blaber described the season as a mixed experience. While acknowledging some positive moments, he stopped short of calling it a successful year, noting that the year-end exit was particularly disappointing.
Despite the setback, Blaber expressed gratitude to the North American fans for their ongoing support. While he admitted the current situation is difficult to accept, he encouraged supporters to remain behind the team in the future.
The Worlds 2026 Play-In stage is taking place in Los Angeles from October 15 to October 18. Four teams are competing for the final spot in the Swiss Stage, with all matches played in a Best-of-5 format using Fearless Draft.
