ASL Season 22 Semifinals: The Road to the Grand Final
The semifinals of ASL Season 22 are set to begin on October 5. Hosted by SOOP, this stage will determine the two finalists who will compete for the championship title.
The first day of competition on October 5 at the FreakUp studio in Seoul will feature a Terran derby. Yoo Young-jin and Lee Jae-ho will face off in a best-of-seven series to secure their spot in the finals.
On October 6, the focus shifts to a Zerg matchup between Park Sang-hyun and Kim Min-chul. The defending champion, Park Sang-hyun, aims for back-to-back titles, while Kim Min-chul, a four-time ASL winner, seeks his fifth championship by overcoming the reigning champion.
The semifinals follow a single-elimination, best-of-seven format. The winners will advance to the grand final, scheduled for October 17 at the Lotte World Ice Rink in Seoul.
