Aniimo Launches Today: Your Journey into Idyll Begins
The wait is over as Pawprint Studio officially launches Aniimo today. This free-to-play, next-gen open-world RPG invites players to explore the vibrant continent of Idyll and collect its diverse inhabitants.
At launch, players can discover and collect over 200 different Aniimo. A notable addition to the roster is Squarrel and its evolution, Squashel, a high-energy creature that utilizes fast-paced combo mechanics centered around its powerful tail.
Based on feedback from beta testers, Pawprint Studio has implemented significant gameplay optimizations. The encounter flow for Irisalis—including capture mechanics and the ritual itself—has been redesigned to provide a smoother experience. This new structure will serve as the template for future Legendary Aniimo events.
Training mechanics have also seen updates, including a simplified Held Item System and increased Star Dust drop rates. Additionally, progression caps are now naturally tied to an Aniimo's level. The Homeland gameplay has been expanded with more interactive elements and activities to enhance exploration.
