Angelian Trigger release dates for PC and PS5
Developer PiXEL has announced the release dates for their new pseudo-3D shoot ’em up, Angelian Trigger. The game is set to launch on PC via Steam on December 10, with a PlayStation 5 version arriving in 2027.
Angelian Trigger is a brand-new IP centered around the Eames Detective Agency, which finds itself embroiled in a massive conspiracy on the planet Sarius. Players control two distinct characters, Mia and Sheryl, offering different gameplay experiences: Mia utilizes dual pistols and double jumps, while Sheryl features a large cannon and the ability to float.
The game features 24 stages across story and arcade modes. To assist players, the developers have included auxiliary mechanics such as the support robot O-P2 and force fields. Notably, while the Steam page previously listed English as an option, it currently only specifies Japanese as a supported language.
The title originally launched on Switch in Japan on December 12, 2024, also with Japanese language support only. The upcoming PS5 release in 2027 will mark the game's expansion to a new console platform.
