AMD is reportedly targeting GPU clock speeds between 3.1 and 3.4 GHz for its next-generation RDNA 5 architecture, according to information shared by Kepler_L2. The comment emerged during a discussion on AnandTech forums about expected frequencies for RDNA 5 integrated graphics. Another forum member argued that upcoming APU GPUs were unlikely to reach 4 GHz, prompting Kepler_L2 to state that AMD is targeting the 3.1 to 3.4 GHz range with RDNA 5. Since RDNA 5 is expected to span discrete GPUs, integrated GPUs, and custom console chips, final frequencies may depend on the specific die, power limits, and product type rather than a single common clock target.
