The update introduces a new 8x6 inventory grid, providing a total of 48 slots. This includes 4 rows of free-to-use slots and 2 rows of encumbered slots, offering 3 more slots than the legacy 9x5 grid. Players can now obtain Small, Medium, and Large backpacks, each featuring 6 quality levels.

Equipping a backpack into the dedicated slot grants additional encumbrance slots, potentially expanding the total inventory up to an 8x12 grid (96 slots). To mitigate the weight penalties, players can utilize the Pack Mule perk or Armor Pocket Mods.

Technical improvements in V3.3.0 include optimized prefab cell data using native memory and improved bug reporting for players stuck on loading screens. The patch also fixes issues regarding item duplication upon death, sound effect triggers, and vehicle inventory checks on dedicated servers.

Some known issues remain, such as the Euthanizer perk failing to trigger and certain item consumption issues at campfires (items must be moved to the backpack first). Additionally, players on macOS may encounter crashes when changing language settings in the OS.
