ZywOo Answers Reddit Q&A: "CS:GO Was the Best Version of the Game"
ZywOo sat down to answer community questions from the CS2 subreddit as part of his new partnership with NVIDIA GeForce, and the Frenchman was candid across the board, from his warmup habits to his preference for CS:GO over CS2.
CS:GO Over CS2, No Hesitation
Asked to pick between the two games, ZywOo didn't hedge. "CS:GO, because I think at the end of its life, CS:GO was truly the best version of the game." It's not a surprising answer from a player who dominated that era, but hearing it stated plainly from one of the sport's biggest names carries weight at a time when Valve is still pushing CS2 forward.
Warmup, Pressure, and Team Trust
ZywOo spends 30 to 45 minutes on deathmatch and bot aim training before matches, depending on how much time sits between games. On handling pressure, he was honest: "I think pressure is always there. It's a lie when people say there isn't any." His coping mechanism is trust rather than mental tricks. When the team around you is good, he said, you hand your confidence to them and the individual weight lifts.
On in-game mistakes and losing track of strategies, he was equally grounded. "It's very important that conversations about mistakes don't carry heavy consequences, and that you don't beat yourself up too hard when something goes wrong. That's part of life too."
