Yakin Jiken arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 today
On September 24, 2026, Regista released the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the horror game Yakin Jiken. To celebrate the launch, the title is currently available at a 30% discount, priced at ¥690 instead of the standard ¥990.
Developed by Chilla's Art, Yakin Jiken is a first-person psychological horror game. The story follows a college student working the night shift at a convenience store to earn a high wage. As the night progresses, the mundane setting shifts into a nightmare filled with mysterious packages, unsettling encounters with locals, and strange figures caught on security cameras.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition features exclusive content, including new endings and a collection mechanic involving the mascot Chira-maru, which triggers changes within the store environment.
