UGREEN Unveils Local AI Smart Home Hardware at IFA
UGREEN has unveiled a local-first smart home AI ecosystem at IFA 2026, featuring dedicated processing hardware, cameras, and peripherals designed to operate without relying on cloud services from major tech firms.
The company’s CEO and founder, Samuel Zhang, introduced the lineup in Berlin, citing a personal experience where he wanted to review photos from a family barbecue but realized he had not taken any. This prompted the development of a system optimized to record everyday life rather than solely detecting security threats. The platform, which uses the voice assistant Uliya, can track pet locations, monitor package deliveries, and detect when a baby is crying, all while keeping data on local devices.
HomeAgent Processing Units
The core of the system is the HomeAgent series, which handles AI processing locally. The base model, the HA100, utilizes a Rockchip RK3588 Arm chip with 26 TOPS of AI processing power. It features two 3.5-inch hard drive bays for storage, a dedicated surveillance bay, and a 2.5Gb Ethernet connection. The unit is managed via UGOS software, similar to UGREEN’s NAS products, and continues to function without an internet connection. The standard price is $1,799, with an early-bird pre-order price of $899, launching on Kickstarter on October 27.
The HA100 Pro offers significantly higher performance with a CIX P1 Arm chip delivering 205 TOPS and a 10Gb Ethernet connection. UGREEN states this model provides deeper semantic understanding and better behavior intent detection. It is priced at $5,999, with a half-price early-bird offer.
The top-tier MasterAgent MA100 is built in collaboration with Nvidia. It features an Nvidia Jetson T5000 chip based on the Blackwell architecture with 2,560 CUDA cores and 2,070 TFLOPS of FP4 processing power. This model is designed for contextual understanding of spoken commands and seamless multi-device control. The price is $19,999, also available with a half-price early-bird deal.
Cameras and Peripherals
UGREEN is introducing three SynCare cameras. The Indoor Cam ID500 Pro offers 4K resolution, night vision, a privacy shutter, and pan-tilt tracking for people and pets. It costs $149, or $89 with early-bird pricing. The PoE Cam OD600 Pro is an outdoor model with three cameras (one 4K, two 3K) and motion-activated night vision. It includes perimeter detection features that can alert users or authorities. Priced at $339, it drops to $199 for early adopters.
The OD800 Pro adds a 10,000mAh battery and a solar panel to the triple-camera design, allowing it to operate without a mains connection. It includes PIR and radar detection and shares the same $339 price point, reduced to $199 for early orders.
The ecosystem also includes an E-Paper Smart Frame using a full-color e-ink display for photos, priced at $439 ($299 early bird), and a smart speaker with four microphones and three drivers rated at 5W output. The speaker is the most affordable item in the range at $99, or $69 with early-bird pricing.
The system supports the Matter AI standard, allowing it to integrate with compatible third-party smart home devices such as thermostats, robot vacuums, and lighting systems.
