Temporary Event Rengoku Begins in Rainbow Six Siege
Ubisoft has officially launched the limited-time Rengoku event for the first-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege. The event runs from August 5 to 26 and offers players a unique mode on a reworked version of Skyscraper, special mechanics with kunai, and a themed collection of cosmetic items.
The Control the Points mode has returned to the game on the Floating Temple map, a reworked version of Skyscraper. Teams battle for three active altars chosen from eight possible points. Every two minutes, objectives change locations, and players can respawn while using kunai with special effects.
The updated Rengoku collection includes limited-time bundles for operators Caveira, Flores, and Gridlock, as well as the Scaled Forces set. Players who log in during the event will receive one free collection pack. Additional packs can be purchased with Renown or R6 Credits.
Players also have access to two free weapon skins: Automatic Elegance for the AK-74M is awarded for completing an in-game task, while Expected Feast for the MP5SD can be obtained through Twitch Drops by watching three hours of eligible streams by August 26.
