Tales of Eternia Remaster: details on the upcoming release
The 2000 classic Tales of Eternia is making a comeback. Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Tales of Eternia Remaster, a remake based on the PSP version, updated for modern hardware with various quality-of-life features.
The game is scheduled for release on October 15, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S. The Steam version for PC will arrive on October 16. The standard edition is priced at 3,960 yen.
A key highlight of this remaster is the focus on player convenience. Players can toggle between the original graphics and the enhanced remaster textures. New navigation tools have also been added: map icons will guide players toward the next main story objective, while specific markers will highlight collectible items or time-sensitive events to prevent players from missing content.
