T1 defeats Karmine Corp 3-1 to reach semifinals against BLG
T1 has punched their ticket to the semifinals after a commanding 3-1 victory over Karmine Corp. Driven by the overwhelming pressure from the Peyz and Keria bot lane duo, T1 managed to dismantle Karmine Corp's efforts to secure a spot in the next stage, where they will now face BLG.
The deciding Game 4 began with significant momentum for Karmine Corp in the top lane. Canna's Renekton applied heavy pressure on Doran's Camille, eventually drawing support from Yike's Wukong to secure a kill. This early success was bolstered by the loss of Oner's Nocturne ultimate, allowing Karmine Corp to also secure the first dragon.
However, T1 responded through their superior control in the bot lane. Peyz's Miss Fortune and Keria's Neeko, who had maintained dominance throughout the laning phase, rotated to the top lane to eliminate Renekton alongside Camille and Nocturne. While T1 conceded a second dragon in the process, they successfully picked off Busio's Rakan during an overzealous engagement and finished off Renekton to stabilize the game.
The momentum shifted decisively around the 21-minute mark. After T1 safely secured the third dragon and traded junglers, they capitalized on a retreating Karmine Corp. Using an exceptional combination of a Blast Cone and a forward Flash, Peyz's Miss Fortune secured a double kill, effectively wiping out the Karmine Corp champions and reclaiming control.
Karmine Corp attempted to fight back during T1's Baron power play, even managing to pick off Faker's Annie in the mid lane to briefly take a global gold lead. Despite this, Peyz's Miss Fortune remained deathless and continued to dominate teamfights, securing a triple kill that restored T1's momentum.
The final blow came around the 32-minute mark. While Karmine Corp focused their attention on Camille, T1 secured the Dragon Soul. Karmine Corp's attempt to force a larger payoff resulted in a total collapse against Keria's Neeko's surprise ultimate and the explosive damage from Miss Fortune. With the numerical advantage secured, T1 eliminated Renekton and pushed to end the match.
