T1 Defeats Brazil's LOS in 24 Minutes
T1 secured a comfortable victory against LOS (the 1st seed from Brazil's CBLOL) in their opening Swiss Stage match of the 2026 LoL World Championship. While a win for T1 was expected against a CBLOL representative, the team delivered a remarkably smooth performance.
Early in the match, Doran on Jayce established a significant CS lead over Zest on K'Sante and secured first blood. Although LOS maintained a respectable laning phase, T1 managed to pick off the enemy Rakan through effective pressure from Oner on Lee Sin in the bottom lane.
Utilizing superior movement, T1 forced out enemy Flash spells one by one before launching a full-scale assault. They focused heavily on the top lane, repeatedly killing K'Sante and taking down the tower to widen the gap. By the 20-minute mark, T1 held an 11–1 kill score and a 6,000 gold lead. The match became increasingly difficult for LOS as T1 quickly secured three dragons.
Maintaining calm and efficient macro execution, T1 won consecutive teamfights, secured a swift Baron, and destroyed the LOS Nexus in just 24 minutes to seal the victory.
