T1 Beats Dplus KIA 2-1 in LCK Playoffs
T1 defeated Dplus KIA 2-1 in the second round of the LCK Playoffs Loser Bracket, securing a decisive step toward the KSPO Dome.
The match took place on September 6 at the LCK Arena in Seoul. T1 now needs just one more set victory to advance to the LCK Loser Bracket Final, which is scheduled to be held at the KSPO Dome.
In the third set, T1 established dominance through a series of key teamfights. Faker Lee Sang-hyeok, playing Lux, recorded three kills during a bottom lane skirmish at the 20-minute mark. Shortly after, T1 secured three kills from Dplus KIA during a fight over the Wind Dragon at 23 minutes.
With the Baron buff and the Ocean Dragon Soul, T1 pushed into the enemy base. At 38 minutes, Peyz Kim Su-hwan utilized Jhin's ultimate ability to overwhelm the remaining Dplus KIA defense, allowing T1 to destroy the twin towers and the Nexus to close out the series.
