New STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Trailer: The Journey to Kokura Revealed
SEGA has unveiled a new trailer for STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, offering a glimpse into the narrative unfolding in the Kokura map. The footage details how the protagonist, Makoto Daito, makes his way from the United States to Japan via a clandestine voyage.
The trailer depicts Makoto Daito (voiced by Yu Shirota) fleeing persecution in America by stowing away on the "ghost ship" of a trader named Orpheus (voiced by Snoop Dogg). This journey leads him to the city of Kokura in Hiroshima Prefecture.

The game is set across five different eras and five cities between 1915 and 1965, with Kokura serving as one of the primary settings. The footage also hints at Daito's encounter with Yu Mashiro (voiced by Dean Fujioka) and his eventual path toward becoming an entertainer, all set against a backdrop of jazz and rap music.

STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027.
