STRANGER THAN HEAVEN: Details on City Interactivity and Environment

During a special broadcast on the official RGG Studio YouTube channel on September 21, 2026, new details regarding STRANGER THAN HEAVEN were revealed. The program featured a segment titled “Gameplay Stage with Ushizawa,” where the well-known streamer Ushizawa played a build of the game showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

The showcase highlighted the high level of environmental detail within the game's urban setting. Players will be able to enter various buildings to search for items and interact with small environmental details, such as picking up cigarette butts on the street or drinking water from public taps. Additionally, the footage showed trams that can pose a hazard to the character.

The demonstration emphasized the developers' focus on immersive world-building, allowing players to engage with the city through various small-scale environmental interactions.
