Rumor: Fnatic Finalizes VALORANT Roster for 2027 Season
According to reports from Sheep Esports, Fnatic has finalized its VALORANT roster for the 2027 season. The lineup will feature Jacob "valyn" Batio, Martin "marteen" Patek, and Patrick "Minny" Gusek, with Kirill "ANGE1" Karasev stepping in as head coach.
The American valyn moves to the EMEA region after a three-season tenure with G2 Esports, where he served as captain since 2024. He joins Czech players marteen and Minny, who previously competed for Gentle Mates. These moves follow earlier reports regarding verbal agreements between the players and Fnatic.
ANGE1, who served as head coach for Natus Vincere this season, officially transitions to coaching following the end of his professional playing career. Kajetan "kaajak" Haremksi and Kirill "Cloud" Nekhozhin are the only players from the previous lineup remaining, with their contracts secured until the end of 2028.
The roster overhaul comes after a challenging VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2, where Fnatic finished in 11th–12th place and missed Champions for the first time in franchise history following a Play-In loss to Joblife.
