Oppo launches A7 Pro 5G globally with 8,000mAh battery
Following its initial debut in China, Oppo has officially expanded the availability of the A7 Pro 5G to global markets. The smartphone is already listed in countries like Malaysia and Thailand, positioning itself as a mid-range device with a heavy emphasis on battery life.
Display and Battery Life
The standout feature of the Oppo A7 Pro 5G is its 8,000mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging and 10W wired reverse charging. While it offers significant endurance, it sits a step below the A7 Pro Max 5G, which features a larger 6.78-inch display, a 10,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging support.
The device is equipped with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, providing a resolution of 2,372 × 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, paired with "LPDDR4X" RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Camera and Durability
For photography, the device features a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP monochrome sensor. The front-facing camera is also 50MP and includes autofocus capabilities. Notably, the phone offers high-level environmental protection, carrying IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Running on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, the smartphone includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and NFC support. The device measures 8.8mm in thickness and weighs approximately 205g. It is available in Surfing Blue, Shine Titanium, and Bloom Pink.
