MSI Unveils Prestige N16 Flip AI+ C1XM with NVIDIA RTX Spark

MSI has launched the 16-inch Prestige N16 Flip AI+ C1XM, a 2-in-1 laptop designed specifically for local AI workloads. Aimed at developers, creators, and business professionals, the device is built to run generative AI and AI agents directly on the hardware. It went on sale on October 23, 2026.

Architecture for Local AI

The core of the laptop is the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X platform, featuring a 20-core CPU and a GPU with 6144 cores. This setup is intended to handle AI-driven tasks locally, reducing reliance on cloud computing. To maintain stability during sustained heavy workloads, MSI has implemented the IntraFlow cooling system, which utilizes an advanced vapor chamber.

The laptop is offered in two primary configurations:

  • Prestige-N16-Flip-AI+C1XMT-3100JP: 4K+ resolution (3840×2400), 128GB of unified memory, and a 2TB SSD.
  • Prestige-N16-Flip-AI+C1XMT-3200JP: QWXGA+ resolution (2880×1800), 64GB of memory, and a 2TB SSD.

Pricing on Amazon.co.jp starts at approximately ¥1,099,800 and goes up to ¥1,459,800.

Display and Connectivity

The device features a 16-inch OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The panel supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) from 30 to 120Hz and is Calman Verified, ensuring professional-grade color accuracy (Delta E < 1) for design and video editing. The screen also supports pen input, with the MSI Nano Pen included in the box.

The 360-degree convertible chassis weighs approximately 1.9kg. Connectivity options include two USB4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and an audio combo jack. Additional features include an SDXC card reader, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
