JyJ defeats Choi Ho-sun to advance to the Top 16 in Google Play ASL Season 22

JyJ, who had previously lost to Kim Min-cheol and faced elimination, bounced back with a decisive victory over Choi Ho-seon. The match took place on the map Colorless Fate during the fifth day of the Group E dual tournament. Choi Ho-seon managed to survive an early threat from Lim Jin-mook, utilizing faster unit growth to disrupt enemy production and eventually securing a win in 10 minutes and 52 seconds.

The decisive encounter between JyJ and Choi Ho-seon occurred on the Backroom map. JyJ, playing as Terran, utilized aggressive fire power to dismantle Choi Ho-seon's defenses. Starting at 7 o'clock against Choi's 11 o'clock position, JyJ expanded clockwise and attacked with Marines before using Dropships to strike the enemy front yard.

JyJ successfully defended against air attacks, quickly deployed Tanks to block choke points, and expanded his multi-base to the center. He systematically dismantled Choi Ho-seon's units and bases, eventually adding a Goliath and Vulture to widen the gap. Despite Choi Ho-seon's attempts to resist with Raiders, JyJ pushed his forces forward, forcing a surrender at 25 minutes and 35 seconds.

This victory allowed JyJ to advance to the next round of Google Play ASL Season 22, while Lim Jin-mook was eliminated as the last survivor of Group E.
