iiyama G-Master GOB2701QSC-B1: First OLED Gaming Monitor with 280 Hz and Burn-in Warranty

iiyama has officially introduced its first OLED gaming monitor — the G-Master GOB2701QSC-B1, codenamed Titan Falcon. Although it was announced on June 30, 2026, the unit is now available in stores as of August 17, 2026.

The standout feature is the combination of a high refresh rate (280 Hz) with a META3 OLED fourth-generation panel, up to 1500 cd/m² peak brightness, and a three-year warranty that explicitly includes protection against burn-in. This is rare: many manufacturers avoid committing to burn-in coverage despite it being a common concern for OLED users.

Technical Specifications

The monitor features a 27-inch diagonal with WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels). Key specs include:

  • Panel: META3 OLED 4th generation (Tandem-WOLED)
  • Refresh rate: 280 Hz
  • Response time: 0.03 ms GtG
  • HDR peak brightness: up to 1500 cd/m²
  • Static contrast ratio: 1,500,000:1
  • Color depth: 10-bit
  • USB-C with 65 W Power Delivery and KVM support
  • Matte coating to reduce glare

The stand is height-adjustable.

Price and Availability

As of August 17, 2026, Geizhals lists prices starting from around €435–€450 depending on the retailer. For an OLED gaming monitor with a 280 Hz refresh rate, this is notably aggressive compared to similar models that typically command higher prices.

Burn-in Warranty

iiyama offers a three-year warranty that explicitly covers burn-in. This is significant for users who will run static UI elements (e.g., desktop environments or creative workflows) on the display. Burn-in remains one of the primary concerns for OLED panels, and few manufacturers provide clear guarantees on this issue.

What We Know So Far

  • Officially announced: June 30, 2026
  • Available in stores: August 17, 2026
  • Starting price: approximately €435–€450 (per Geizhals)
  • Warranty includes explicit burn-in protection

Independent reviews will be needed to confirm image quality, color accuracy, brightness stability, and long-term reliability. For now, the G-Master GOB2701QSC-B1 appears to be a serious contender in the high-refresh-rate OLED gaming segment.
