Hanwha Life Esports take Game 1 against G2 behind Zeus
Hanwha Life Esports took Game 1 in their high-stakes elimination match against G2 Esports. The win keeps their tournament hopes alive, while G2 faces the threat of elimination.
G2 Esports started strong in the opening game. They successfully invaded the Hanwha Life Esports jungle to secure two kills and won a 3v3 skirmish in the bot lane, catching Delight's Alistar. Hanwha Life Esports found breathing room when an Alistar roam caught Caps on Cassiopeia. The team briefly faced a major setback after giving up three quick deaths in a skirmish, but Zeus on K'Sante mitigated the damage by securing a solo kill.
Rallied by Zeus's performance, Hanwha Life Esports took control in the subsequent teamfight. Kanavi's Lee Sin successfully kicked Cassiopeia into the team to secure a kill. Although G2 managed to catch K'Sante on a side lane, Hanwha Life Esports countered by targeting Gumayusi's Corki, further widening their lead.
Once Hanwha Life Esports gained momentum, they became unstoppable. Even without K'Sante present, they executed a bold dive past the inner bot tower, with Zeus arriving just in time to follow up. Ultimately, after securing an Ace near the Baron pit—conceding only Zeka's Syndra—Hanwha Life Esports pushed forward to close out the game.
