FURIA fe announces transition to VALORANT as women's CS2 scene continues collapse
The female Counter-Strike 2 scene is hemorrhaging talent, with FURIA fe becoming the latest major organization to pivot to VALORANT. They join Mayline-Joy "ASTRA" Champliaud, who left CS2 in 2025 after being named HLTV's #1 female player of the year.
FURIA fe were among the top contenders in the women's division, finishing second at three separate ESL Impact League Finals before finally claiming the crown in Season 7. Their departure underscores the dire state of the scene, a reality ASTRA previously attributed to the fragmentation of female CS and a lack of upcoming tournaments.
The organization has officially rebranded the squad as FURIA Inclusivo. They will now compete in Riot Games' VCT Game Changers circuit, marking another significant shift for the women's ecosystem following the dissolution of the ESL Impact League in 2025.
