Free Play Days runs from Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13. This promotion is available to XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members. During this period, Borderlands 4, F1 25 2026 Season Edition, Surviving Mars: Relaunched, and CarX Drift Racing Online can be played at no cost.

Dustborn offers a special two-hour trial alongside a discount promotion running from September 10 through September 13. Additionally, EA Sports Madden NFL 27 is free for all XBOX members to try during the same dates, without requiring an active Game Pass subscription.

To start playing, users can scroll down on the individual game detail pages on XBOX.com and click to install. This action redirects to the Microsoft Store, where installation options are visible for signed-in members with the appropriate Game Pass membership. Console users can navigate to the Subscriptions tab in the XBOX Store and locate the Free Play Days collection on their XBOX One or XBOX Series X|S.

Users can purchase the games and other editions at a limited-time discount while continuing to play, ensuring that Gamerscore and achievements earned during the event are retained. Please note that discounts, percentages, and title availability may vary by title and region.
