EWC Crossfire Opens: Team Falcons vs Natus Vincere
The EWC group stage for Crossfire began on August 18 in France, with the event running for five days until August 22 to determine the finalists and winner.
The total prize pool for the tournament is $2 million, with an additional $10,000 awarded to the MVP. The winning team will secure an extra slot for the CFS Grand Final scheduled for the end of the year.
Sixteen teams from five regions—China, Vietnam, Brazil, EU/MENA, and Southeast Asia—are competing in the group stage. The top four teams from each division will advance to the playoffs.
The opening match features a clash between Team Falcons and Natus Vincere, marking their first international encounter at this event. For Team Stallions, currently ranked second in the club standings, the outcome of this game is also significant.
Results in Crossfire will directly impact the final standings of the EWC Club Championship. As of now, Team Falcons leads the overall ranking, followed by AG.AL in second place, with Natus Vincere rounding out the top three.
