Einstein yori Ai o Komete + APOLLOCRISIS to launch on Switch in 2027
The sci-fi romance adventure Einstein yori Ai o Komete + APOLLOCRISIS is scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch in 2027. Developer GLOVETY has announced that the new package will bundle the original title with its sequel.
The release features a collaboration between writer Yu Niijima and artist Ao Kimishima. The collection brings together the original Einstein yori Ai o Komete and the sequel APOLLOCRISIS, which takes place one year after the main story's events.
The Switch version includes several new features not found in the PC originals, such as additional event CGs drawn by Ao Kimishima and a new main visual. Players will also get new story scenarios for the four heroines and an extra episode featuring the supporting character Takeshi Katagiri. In terms of technical features, the game will support Full HD in TV mode and will be fully compatible with touch screen controls in handheld mode. It will also support the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Nintendo Switch Online save data service.
The story follows a "summer science love story" centered on Shuta Aiuchi, a student who meets the mysterious Romi Arimura. Their encounter leads to the formation of a special research club, setting off a journey to uncover deep mysteries.
In addition to the expanded content, the Switch version incorporates quality-of-life features such as skip and rewind functions, dialogue jumping, and quick save/load options. The game will be fully compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite, though certain single-handed play modes in TV or Tabletop mode will require a Joy-Con (R) controller.
Pricing and a specific release date have yet to be confirmed. The title is expected to support the Nintendo Switch Online save data service.
