Divine Clinches PWS Phase 2 Title via Dramatic Comeback
Divine has emerged as the champion of the 2026 PUBG Weekly Series (PWS) Phase 2 Grand Finals. Following a high-stakes final day, the squad secured a comeback victory over T1, officially qualifying for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC).
The tournament, held at the DN Colosseum in Seoul, saw a fierce battle for the trophy. After entering the Grand Finals in 7th place following the weekly stages, Divine struggled in the opening matches. However, they found their rhythm in the fifth match, securing 59 points and moving into second place, trailing only T1.
The second day was marked by constant shifts in leadership. Divine briefly took the lead after eliminating Eagle Owls, Daejeon GamePT, and Azura Pentagram, but T1 reclaimed the top spot in the ninth match. By the start of the final day, Divine faced a critical 8-point deficit behind T1.
The turning point arrived during the 15th match on Erangel. While T1 finished their run with 142 points after a quiet final match, Divine survived a intense 3v3 endgame, finishing second in the match with 7 kills. This performance brought their total to 144 points, allowing them to surpass T1 by just 2 points.
With this victory, Divine accumulated 685 KR PGC Points, finishing third in the overall standings behind DN Supers and T1. While DN Supers and T1 earned direct seeds to the Grand Finals and Survival Stage respectively, Divine will begin their PGC journey at the Qualifying Stage.
