CS2 Update Brings Boulder and Poseidon Workshop Changes Plus Movement Fix
Valve has pushed an update for Counter-Strike 2, focusing on adjustments to two Workshop maps, Boulder and Poseidon. The patch also resolves a gameplay issue where player speed was abnormally high when moving against walls.

Boulder: Structural Adjustments and Performance Tweaks

The update introduces several layout changes to Boulder to tighten angles and close unintended sightlines. Doors at bombsite B have been rearranged to better obscure angles into mid, while the cover piece on B has been reduced in size. The B short house has been shifted inward to create a safe spot from the mid doors.

A blocker has been added below the table at A upper room to remove a feet angle from below the scaffolding. Wallbang opportunities through the mid door and B main curtain have been fixed. Performance sees a minor improvement with better LOD handling for flowers and ground leaves at distance, and two technical issues—missing VVIS objects and a lighting leak near T spawn—have been resolved.

Poseidon: New Bomb and Visibility Improvements

The update to Poseidon implements a new bomb. Additionally, visibility has been improved near Apollo Cafe, and clipping issues between hell and heaven have been tightened.

Gameplay Fix

A specific case where player speed was too high when moving against walls has been fixed, ensuring consistent movement mechanics across the map.
