Beer Bottle Spotted During NAVI Match at BLAST Slam VIII
During the Natus Vincere match against Team Nemesis at BLAST Slam VIII, viewers of the English broadcast spotted a beer bottle on the desk of carry Taras "gotthejuice" Linnikov. It was noted that the player did not touch the bottle during the drafting phase.
Following the match, the NAVI manager clarified the situation, stating that gotthejuice remained sober. The manager explained that the bottle was simply left on the desk, as the player had not cleaned his workspace for a couple of months.
The tournament ended in disappointment for Natus Vincere, who finished in 13th–16th place after losing 1:2 to Team Nemesis and facing 1w Team. The team earned $7,000 in prize money. Their next appearance is scheduled for the online stage of BLAST Slam IX, running from November 20 to 29.
