Unibody Design and USB-C Connectivity

The Light Wings Pro IO series aims to reduce cable clutter and simplify PC builds. The core feature is the unibody construction, which fuses three fans into a single frame. This setup allows users to manage both fan motors and RGB LEDs through a single cable. The series utilizes a daisy-chainable USB-C connection, supporting up to six IO devices connected to a single hub.

It is important to note the distinction in packaging: the large 420mm and 360mm unibody models include a controller, whereas the 120mm and 140mm expansion fans are sold as barebone units. These expansion fans must be daisy-chained to a unibody model or an additional separately purchased hub.

Technical Specifications and Lighting

The lineup consists of two main categories:

• Light Wings Pro IO: Large unibody units in 420x140x28 mm (three 140mm fans) and 360x120x28 mm (three 120mm fans). These models are available in black or white, with reverse-blade options offered exclusively for the 420mm and 360mm versions.
• Light Wings Pro IO Expansion: Standard 120mm and 140mm fans designed to match the aesthetics of the unibody blocks.

Lighting is powered by up to 124 LEDs divided into four independently controllable zones. Users can customize lighting effects and fan curves via the IO Center software, available as an app or through a web browser. To mitigate acoustic resonance, the central fan in the unibody models ships with an offset speed out-of-the-box. The maximum noise level is rated at 33.9 dBA at 100% speed.

The series will be available starting October 27. Pricing is as follows:

• 420mm model: $142.90 / €119.90
• 360mm model: $132.90 / €109.90
• 140mm Expansion: $59.90 / €45.90
• 120mm Expansion: $54.90 / €42.90

All models come with a five-year warranty. Additionally, IO Cable kits will be available for $19.90 / €18.90.
