Aurora Gaming PH Secures First Win in MPL Philippines S18
ONIC PH extended its unbeaten run in MPL Philippines Season 18 by defeating TNC Pro Team, while Aurora Gaming PH secured its first win of the tournament against Twisted Minds PH.
The matchday featured two regular-season encounters that shifted the standings. ONIC PH closed out the series against TNC Pro Team with a 2:1 victory, marking its fifth consecutive win in the competition. This result keeps the team at the top of the table with a perfect 5–0 record and 15 points. For TNC Pro Team, the loss represents their second defeat of the season, leaving them in fourth place with a 2–2 record and six points.
In the other match, Aurora Gaming PH ended their winless streak by taking a 2:0 series victory over Twisted Minds PH. This result moved Aurora Gaming PH up to sixth place in the standings, improving their record to 1–3 after four matches. Twisted Minds PH remains at the bottom of the table with a 0–4 record.
The MPL Philippines Season 18 LAN tournament has been running since August 21. Teams are competing for a $150,000 prize pool and two qualification slots for the M8 World Championship.
