80% of Dawn of War 4 Beta Participants Reconnected
The turnout for the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 closed beta has significantly exceeded expectations. According to KING Art Games, 80% of participants logged back in to play multiple times during the testing period.
In a Steam announcement, Jan Theysen, Creative Director and co-founder of KING Art Games, revealed that last week's five-day closed beta was the studio's largest playtest to date. Participation levels were more than double what the developers had anticipated. The team also collected thousands of survey responses, which will be used as they enter the final month of development.
As the studio enters the final stretch before release, Theysen expressed confidence that the game will be worth the wait. The development process has spanned nearly six years, and the team noted that positive community reception since the previous closed alpha test has served as significant motivation.
Looking ahead, the developers plan to share more information throughout the coming month. Specifically, upcoming updates will focus on the unit painting feature and details regarding The Last Stand mode.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 is an RTS developed by KING Art Games and published by Deep Silver. The game is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam on December 3.
