Zeus: "I felt for G2 in our match at Worlds"
Hanwha Life Esports' Zeus (Choi Woo-je) expressed sympathy for G2 Esports following their defeat in the Swiss Stage of the League of Legends World Championship.
During the 4th round of the Swiss Stage held on October 31 in Allen, Texas, Hanwha Life Esports secured a 2-0 victory over G2 Esports. This win propelled Hanwha Life to the 5th round with a 2-2 record, while G2 Esports was officially eliminated from the tournament.
Speaking after the match, Zeus addressed the immense pressure the team faced after starting the tournament with two losses. He noted that the team focused heavily on adjusting their picks and game plans to return to their expected level of play.
"Every loss felt heavy and created a lot of pressure. We met G2 when we were at 1-2, and I felt for them," Zeus said.
