Wuthering Waves 3.7 Update: New Resonators and Echo System Overhaul

The update will expand the story of Solaris-3 with a new Main Quest, Chapter IV Act IV: Simulacrum of the Heart, and a new Tales Quest, Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing. Players can also explore the newly introduced Simulacrum Nexus area in Mengzhou.

A major focus of version 3.7 is the expansion and optimization of the Echo system. The update introduces five new Echoes (Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet, and Jade Nether Serpent), three new Sonata Effects, and a new Phantom Echo: Phantom: Skywatch Lancer. To streamline inventory management, unequipped, non-upgraded Echoes of the same type and stats will now automatically stack in the Echo Backpack, up to a limit of 999 items.

New gameplay elements include two new Resonators, Hsin and Suoming, alongside new weapons Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue. Additionally, a Replay Mode will be added, allowing players to revisit main quests from versions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.

Quality-of-life improvements are also significant: team management now supports up to 20 setups with 3D display options, and the camera system will receive upgrades including Selfie and Tripod (drone) modes. Furthermore, a tiered resource download system will undergo limited testing on PC, iOS, and Android, allowing players to choose between UHD, HD, and SD assets to balance performance and visual quality.

The update will also feature various events, such as the Gifts of Singing Drizzle login event running from October 22 to November 11, 2026, and several exploration and combat-focused activities.
