World of Warcraft Hotfixes: Class, PvP, and Labyrinth Adjustments
Blizzard Entertainment has released a series of hotfixes for World of Warcraft version 12.1.5. The updates, spanning from October 14 to October 23, address various issues in Midnight, Classic versions (including Mists of Pandaria, Burning Crusade, and Era), and Hardcore. The fixes cover class mechanics, item behavior, PvP adjustments, and various scenarios within dungeons and labyrinths.
Key class adjustments include fixes for Warlock, where summons—including Shadows of Nath'reza, Dominion of Argus, and Diabolist summons—as well as Diabolic Occuli, will no longer incorrectly target enemies outside of combat. For Enhancement Shamans, the issue with Surging Elements not appearing in the Cooldown Manager has been resolved. Additionally, Holy Priest players will no longer have their channeled spells, such as Divine Hymn, interrupted by Sanctified Ground when applied to allies.
In PvP, there are no longer caps on Conquest and Bloody Tokens. A new buff, Spoils of War, has been introduced, increasing Honor gains by 40% and Conquest gains by 50% in Battlegrounds and Arenas. Players can also purchase the Venomous Equipment Chest from the quartermaster Irissa Bloodstar.
A significant portion of the updates focuses on Labyrinth and Delves. Fixes were implemented for boss kill credit registration, issues with the Pit Boss despawning in the Returning the Bounty scenario, and bugs causing players to fall through the map in The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan. Furthermore, Murder Row now features visual indicators for safe zones to improve player positioning during combat.
Other fixes include resolving item level issues with Ascendant Venomstones, addressing stealth-breaking effects from certain items, and adjusting level requirements for various lootable treasures and scenarios.
