Wildcard, DarkZero, FaZe Clan, and Geekay Esports advanced to the final stage of the tournament via their respective upper brackets. The remaining four playoff spots were secured by teams that won elimination matches: FURIA, Weibo Gaming, Team Liquid, and Team Secret.

In the quarterfinals, Wildcard will play against FURIA. The Brazilian squad previously defeated Fnatic in a 2-1 series to secure their spot. Meanwhile, Geekay Esports will compete against Team Secret, who eliminated Team Falcons with a dominant 2-0 victory.

Key performances from the group stage highlight the strength of the contenders. For instance, Noa "NoaUrz" Rodriguez was the standout player for Team Secret in their win over Team Falcons, finishing the series with a K/D of 20-14 and a KOST of 63%. Similarly, Pavel "p4sh4" Kosenko led Virtus.pro despite their loss to Weibo Gaming, recording a K/D of 26-18.

The Esports World Cup 2026 runs from August 4 to August 15. Twenty-two teams are competing for a prize pool of $2,000,000. The champion will also earn a direct slot at the Six Invitational 2027. Playoff matches will be held from August 12 to 15.
