War Thunder Fair Play August 2026: Ban Report and Security Recommendations
The War Thunder development team has published its Fair Play report for August 2026. The document outlines the sanctions applied to rule violators and provides recommendations for securing player accounts against fraudsters and cheaters.
Ban Sanctions
Since the last Fair Play update, 3,471 accounts have been banned. These violations fell under EULA section 3.2.3: gameplay automation via bots and the use of cheat software.
An additional 98 temporary bans were issued for breaching EULA section 3.2.4. This included collusion with the opposing team to repeatedly capture zones or profit from mutual damage without intent to engage in combat.
Furthermore, 278 accounts received bans of one week or longer for intentional teamkilling and griefing. Among these were 10 permanent bans.
To ensure full transparency, the team will publish a complete list of permanently banned players. This list will remain available for two weeks following the article's publication.
