Vitality win ESL Pro League S24: Final results and Aurora's bronze
Vitality have been crowned champions of ESL Pro League Season 24 after defeating MOUZ in the grand final. This marks the seventh title for the roster in 2026. In the third-place match, Aurora secured victory over Spirit to claim the bronze.
Vitality: Dust2 comeback and responding to critics
During the final, Vitality faced a challenging situation on Dust2, trailing 9:12. Captain Dan "apEX" Madesclaire explained that at the 12-9 mark, he urged his teammates to refocus on their own game and maintain belief. Following tactical adjustments and improved map movement, the team successfully turned the tide.

For Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, the victory held extra motivation to beat former teammates from MOUZ following the departure of Spinx. He emphasized that the team's goal is to win every final they reach. Robin "ropz" Kool noted that winning the ESL Pro League during a season that includes an Intel Grand Slam title is a significant achievement, adding that he felt remarkably little pressure despite the iconic arena.
Addressing online speculation regarding the end of Vitality's era following some inconsistent performances, apEX stated that the team ignores such discussions, focusing instead on winning trophies with their current roster.
Aurora: Building momentum for the Major
Aurora finished the tournament in third place. Özgür "woxic" Eker admitted that mentally resetting for the third-place match after being eliminated from title contention was difficult, but the team approached the game against Spirit with the mindset of a final. The win is crucial for their VRS ranking and tournament standing.
According to woxic, the team's recent performances and growing confidence against top-tier opponents will serve them well at the upcoming Major. Aurora will next compete at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 in Malta.
