VALORANT to receive new Aeris collection featuring magical cards
Riot has unveiled the Ultra-tier Aeris collection centered around magical cards. The bundle launches on August 19 following Patch 13.03.
VALORANT developers have announced the new Aeris collection, an Ultra-tier bundle themed around magical cards. It will replace both Neo Frontier collections after the release of Patch 13.03 and becomes available in the store on August 19 at 07:00 CEST.
Magical cards serve as the central theme of the collection, influencing weapon equip, inspect, and reload animations. The developers placed particular emphasis on the finisher effect: after an opponent dies, cards appear around them, hover in the air before crashing down and exploding in a pillar of energy, accompanied by special music.
An unusual part of the bundle is a new Flex shaped like a magical card deck, featuring interactive card-shuffling and drawing animations. There is a 10% chance that one of six card sets from the Riftbound: League of Legends card game will appear instead of the standard deck.
The collection includes skins for several popular weapons, a knife, and a unique Flex. Individual skins for the Vandal, Guardian, Marshal, and Bandit will cost 2,375 VP each, while the knife is the bundle's most expensive item at 5,350 VP. The full bundle is priced at 9,500 VP. A player card costs 575 VP and a gun buddy 475 VP.
