UGREEN Unveils Liquid-Cooled MagFlow Pro Power Bank
UGREEN has unveiled the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank, a 10,000mAh battery pack featuring a liquid cooling system, at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The device is designed to maintain stable charging performance by actively managing heat, a common issue for high-power wireless chargers.
The power bank incorporates a cooling technology named CryoPulse, which utilizes a micro-pump to circulate coolant through internal liquid channels. Despite this active cooling mechanism, the device maintains a slim profile with a thickness of 16.2mm. UGREEN states that this system reduces peak core temperatures by up to 10°C compared to industry standards. The primary benefit is the prevention of thermal throttling, which allows the battery to sustain its peak power output for longer periods. This is particularly relevant when the power bank is magnetically attached to a smartphone for wireless charging, as the contact surface limits passive airflow and can cause heat buildup.

Beyond immediate performance, the cooling system aims to extend the lifespan of the lithium-ion cells. UGREEN notes that prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures accelerates irreversible capacity loss. According to the company, the CryoPulse system reduces heat buildup in the battery by up to 44%. To visualize the active cooling process, UGREEN has installed a transparent window over the cooler, allowing users to see the coolant circulating through the channels during operation.

In terms of specifications, the MagFlow Pro offers up to 45W of power via USB-C and 25W for wireless charging. It supports simultaneous charging of three devices: one via magnetic wireless connection, one through an integrated USB-C cable, and a third using a secondary USB-C port. The battery consists of two 5,000mAh cells, providing a total capacity of 10,000mAh. UGREEN claims this is sufficient for approximately 1.36 full charges of an iPhone 17 Pro Max or two full charges of an iPhone Air. Using a Qi wireless connection, the device can charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in around 40 minutes.

The MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank is available now with an MSRP of €119.99 or £109.99. Alongside this flagship product, UGREEN announced two additional devices in the MagFlow series. The first is the MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W, priced at €139.99 or £119.99. This stand features a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) based on the Peltier effect to absorb heat from the device. A fan rated at 15dBA dissipates the heat from the TEC, and UGREEN reports that this setup reduces the phone's charging temperature by up to 18°C compared to a standard charger. The stand can charge a phone, an Apple Watch, and a pair of earbuds simultaneously.

The second accessory is the MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W, available for €49.99 or £43.99. This portable device folds into a lightweight 100g puck for easy storage. When unfolded, it provides two charging surfaces: a magnetic surface for a phone at 25W and a secondary surface for earbuds at 5W, allowing both to be charged at the same time.
