Throne and Liberty Update 3.34.0 launched on May 14, 2026, followed on May 20 by the announcement of the game's next major content drop: The Frozen Divide: Nix expansion, arriving June 25.

Update 3.34.0: Stellar Journey

The patch's headline feature is Stellar Journey, a new long-term progression system. Players earn a resource called Starry Memory from the Adventure Codex, Exploration Codex, and Traces of Spacetime activities. Each Starry Memory permanently increases character stats.

Traces of Spacetime received two new activity types in every region: Rift Rebellions — portal-based objective challenges — and Relic Fishing Locations. At 100% Traces of Spacetime completion, two random Rift Rebellions and one Relic Fishing Location appear daily across all dominions.

PvP: Arena Season 6 and Battlegrounds Season 1

The patch launched two new PvP seasons. Arena Season 6 is now ranked-only matchmaking with rank-based honor rewards. Battlegrounds Season 1 is a new ranked mode with two maps — Giant's Cityscape and Floating Elf Garden — selected randomly per match.

The Frozen Divide: Nix — Expansion Announced

On May 20, Amazon Games and NCSoft announced Throne and Liberty's biggest expansion to date: The Frozen Divide: Nix, launching June 25, 2026.

The Nix region is a frozen tundra shaped by ancient forces, unstable Red Fog, and the ruins of civilizations buried beneath the ice. New vertical traversal mechanics let players climb mountains and descend into valleys. The new weapon class — Gauntlets — is a Tank/DPS hybrid built for close-range combat, with an aggressive mode for rapid combos and a defensive stance for survivability. The level cap rises from 55 to 60, with two new co-op dungeons and Path of Ascension improvements.
