TES 'Ziyan' Denied US Visa: Team Faces Risk of Missing Worlds
The situation for TES ahead of the League of Legends World Championship has taken a turn for the worse. Top laner 'Ziyan' (Qing Zihao) has failed his third US visa interview, jeopardizing the team's participation in the tournament.
The news was shared by 'JackeyLove' (Wei Yuan) during a recent personal livestream. According to the player, the attempt to secure a P-1A visa—a category specifically for professional athletes—was unsuccessful. While there is still hope regarding the P-1A status, participation in the Worlds Swiss Stage is now highly uncertain.
TES has already identified '369' (Bai Jiahao) as a potential substitute for the player. If the visa issues remain unresolved, the team will be unable to travel to the United States for the event. Historically, the first player in South Korea to receive this type of visa was former StarCraft II professional Kim Dong-hwan.
TES was scheduled to face Hanwha Life Esports in their opening match of the Swiss Stage.
