Team Spirit Manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov Reveals Unusual Bootcamp Ahead of The International 2026
Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, manager of Team Spirit, discussed the team's preparation for The International 2026 and compared it to previous major tournaments. He revealed that before TI in Shanghai, the squad decided to hold a special bootcamp at a new location to step out of their usual comfort zone.
Belov noted that preparation for the last "Int" — the one in Hamburg — was different due to circumstances. With Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov and player Den [Larl] in the hospital, full preparation was impossible. The team played with Mirele, but with a different roster and heroes, making it hard to claim they were fully prepared.
This time, the approach changed. "For this 'Int,' there was also a bootcamp, but it was unusual — we dedicated some time not just to the game," Belov stated. He emphasized that this was a one-time event specifically before the tournament. Choosing a different location allowed the team to break from their routine.
The International 2026 will take place from August 13 to 23 in Shanghai, China. The competition will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of over $2.6 million, which increases with the sales of club and caster bundles for the tournament.
