T1 defeats CFO to advance to 2-1 group
T1 defeated CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) in the third round of the League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage. With this win, the team advances to the 2-1 group.
The match took place on October 27 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. Early in the game, Keria (류민석) secured two kills on Rakan during a dive under the bottom turret, and the team also managed to pick off Kino's (주우신룽) Alistar in a top lane skirmish.
Despite facing setbacks, including the death of Doran's (최현준) Ambessa and losses in early jungle fights, T1 regained control. A decisive moment occurred at the 24-minute mark when Peyz (김수환) on Jhin secured a triple kill during a mid-lane teamfight, resulting in an Ace. Following the Baron buff, T1 dominated a subsequent mid-lane engagement before pushing into the base to destroy the nexus and end the match.
