SteelSeries Unveils UWB-Powered Sensei Pro and Rival Pro Mice
SteelSeries has announced four new wireless gaming mouse models across two series: Sensei Pro and Rival Pro. The standout feature of these devices is the integration of Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, designed to eliminate wireless interference issues.
While most wireless peripherals operate on the crowded 2.4 GHz band, these SteelSeries mice utilize the 7.25–9 GHz frequency range. This approach aims to provide a more stable connection and lower latency by avoiding interference from smartphones, consoles, and other wireless devices. The mice support a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz.

Each series is available in two sizes: standard and Mini. The Sensei Pro series features a symmetrical shape, whereas the Rival Pro series utilizes an ergonomic design with a curved front. Standard models weigh 53g, while the Mini versions weigh 49g. Both series are right-handed designs, with side buttons located only on the left side.

To ensure uninterrupted gameplay, the mice feature the Infinite Power System. Each mouse comes with two batteries and an Ultra Wideband Wireless Base Station that doubles as a USB wireless adapter. While one battery powers the mouse, the other charges on the base. At an 8000 Hz polling rate, the battery lasts up to 16 hours, and up to 60 hours at 1000 Hz.

The hardware includes the custom TrueMove 42K Pro optical sensor, based on the PixArt Imaging PAW3955, offering up to 42,000 DPI. The main buttons use optical switches rated for 100 million clicks. Users can customize settings via SteelSeries GG software or through SteelSeries GG Web via a browser.

Black models are scheduled for release on November 20, 2026, with white versions following in mid-December. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 33,310 yen.
